It's a Widefoot Cargo Mount. Mostly a bikepacking accessory used to attach large capacity water bottles, liquid fuel bottles, small bags, etc.

I love the dark grey sidewalls (on the right bike). Never tried the tires out though so can't comment on performance

Admittedly I kinda want them for fashion, but I figured they should probably not have terrible peformance.

haven't tried them myself either, but a couple riders i know fairly like them.

I've just fitted Vittoria Peyote 27.5 on my commuter and they feel stupidly soft. Not sure how many miles I'll get out of them before they're bald. Worth trying though because they were only £11 each from PlanetX last year. And yeah, they look great.
