How was your luck getting the Offset bushing to stay i the right orientation? My experience with this always ended with the bushing turning while I screwed the bolt in.

Yeah this can and has been an issue for me in the past. Usually because I can’t get a 22.2mm bushing and make do with a 22 so it’s pretty loose until it’s tightened down. But I had just put fresh Fox eyelet bushes in and it seemed enough to hold it. I also pulled the shock backward to try and hold it in the right orientation. Bit of a faff but once it’s in it’s in.

Hello there folks!

Some bloody lovely looking Nukies in the thread!

So.....

Im not currently a Nukeproof owner, however due to a sad XC bike theft from outside a pub in Manchester I have a few quid to spend. Dont think I can stretch to even a second hand AM but I have seen a few TR's in my price range on here and ebay.

I was just wondering if you can upgrade the shock and forks to the full travel (160 instead of the fitted 130) at a later point without stressing the frame, is the geometry basically the same?

Cheers guys

I'm of the understanding the am is a much burlier frame than the tr, I don't have mine anymore, not sure the tr would be ok with 160 travel, can't beat the am though absolute beast of a bike

Cheers dude, i thought that may be the case....bit more saving up for me...or i could sell some blood...

The TR's (at least the 26") are great with 160mm forks and were warrantied for them too so obviously have no problems with the extra stress of 160mm forks. I loved my TR with 160mm Pike's. There isn't really a way to change the rear travel without messing things up though. The AM and TR had different shock sizes with different mounting points.

IIRC there wasn't that much difference weight wise between the AM and TR and the AM had a larger shock so they should have been about the same strength.

Hmmm

that sounds more promising, i am still pretty noob-ish tho...not sure how it would work out with such a discrepancy between front and rear....

Hi everybody
do you have recommendations for the ideal size of a Nukeproof Pulse 2017 frame?
I´m 1,73m tall (or for my imperial friends 5'7") and have relative long arms.
Would you recommend getting M or L?

Kind regards

I had a scalp, im just a little taller than you 5'9, i got the medium. It was a good fit but i could have used another inch in cockpit length. If you like your bikes to fit small get the med, if you want room, get the large
Imo
