What coil rate is everyone running on their 275 mega? Got a super deluxe coil on the way.

To mega 275 owners: What size do you have and how tall are you?

Im 6’3 and think that an xl might be too big. According to their charts im perfect for L but this long bike trend makes me think about xl. The jump betwen l and xl is too big though

5’10” on a large. With a choice between slightly small or slightly large I always prefer slightly large

5'10" on large. Seatpost can feel kinda high sometimes, but it is a reverb(really tall above the clamp) and I have it slammed forward and major down tilt because my back is screwed up.

What size should i go? 6’3. L or XL? Isnt XL too large?

5'10 on a large, seat post feels awkward sometimes but I think if I eventually get the OneUp dropper (less stack height) it will be perfect.

6'0 on a Large (2020 275 frame). Running the seat most of the way back on the seatpost but feels like it's the bike that's fit me the best since I started riding properly 20 years ago.

I have a buddy who is 6'3 on an XL (2018 275 frame) and he says it's great.

Pretty sure if they scaled Sam Hill up to 6”3 he’d be on an xl. I like a smaller bike but I think they started making huge bikes for peeps just like you! I’m 5’8 inch’s short on a medium and it’s perf

I laugh at how cyclical and trendy the racers are these days! Past 3 years everyone going to 29" wheels, 800mm bars and 35mm stems...This past year several riders doing mullet bikes, 50mm stems are back, riders doing 780mm-750mm bars again.

FIT is EVERYTHING....after the Fit is right its all about TUNING. My 2 cents, take your time, figure out what fit makes you a better rider.

For me: 5'8" and on the Medium Mega 27.5 with a 50mm stem and for this bike 770mm bars. But on my shorter travel 29er trail bike I like & ride better with 760mm bars.

Your WINGSPAN & INSEAM affect your FIT not just your height...hope that helps.
Take your time, test & make notes after rides, really focus on FIT. Cheers!

Agree with you.
It is true that the industry pushes norms to us consumers. Racers are like advertisers. Lets be honest: all these races are sponsored by different companies for components and bikes, whose money come from us, the buyers. In order to keep the wheel spinning, they must make new trends and different products, that the racers use and then we buy these new items and so on... on the other hand, racers just experiment with different trends and sizes to see what best suits them just as we do. I do belive in personalization and that different sizes are for different bodies with different proportions.

Anyone running 200+ mm droppers on their 2019 megas? If so are the able to be slammed?

Still cant find any info on Max insertion measurements and I need a new bigger dropper asap

Thanks.
