spoke ex 1501 spline

Just done a spoke on my nukeproof mega, dt swiss ex 1501 spline 27.5 rear wheel drive side. Don't suppose anyone knows what size spokes I need? 306mm or 286mm.

Cheers

Check out page 27 here: https://d2a13k6araex7u.cloudfront.net/fileadmin/user_upload/Support/Catalog/Catalog_2020/BRO_ASM_Techbook_MY2020_A4_Quer_20191115.pdf

It will depend if your rim is 25mm wide or 30mm wide and if you are 142 or 148mm rear - but I think the mega is 148 rear.

With the 25mm wide rim you will need 274mm spoke. 30mm rim (more likely) you will need 285mm spoke.

Anyone running 200+ mm droppers on their 2019 megas? If so are the able to be slammed?

Still cant find any info on Max insertion measurements and I need a new bigger dropper asap

Thanks.

I have a 200mm C1 reverb fitted on my 2018 Mega 290. It cannot be slammed all the way to the collar. I’ll try and include a picture of where it goes down too. Luckily for me it works perfectly, I’ve had to raise it about 5mm to get my perfect riding hight and it’s definitely out of the way more than the 170mm it replaced. If you’ve got shorter legs it will not work.

I was expecting the new 200mm reverb to be able to fit in all the way to the collar. I measured it multiple times against the details on the sram website before I ordered it. The internal bend on the must start a lot higher than it looks on the outside. Hope it helps somebody, if you’ve got short legs a 200mm reverb won’t be much use in a large mega 290

Ridiculously bored with the lockdown so cleaned and tuned the fleet. Been wishing for this weather since October and this shit happens. Only the road bike is getting some use. Still hopeful the overseas trip at the end of summer isn’t cancelled but I’m also very doubtful. Probably have to sell this lot to pay the bills if it goes on too long. I guess I should be thankful for my family’s health (touch wood), some people have it a lot worse. Stay safe everyone
