Try a new stem with a more upright angle, right now the hood position looks pretty much useless.

Something like this should do the trick...

cool thanks. i think i might try both. i definitely push myself, but nothing too crazy. just want to be comfortable if i set out on a 30-35 mile ride.

i was thinking of an upward angle stem, just wasn't sure how conventional it was, especially with what i have now.

I love this bike! I've had the frame for about two months now (new along with the seatpost, tires and saddle) and swapped over the build from my Kuota. The difference in terms of smooth ride is phenomenal and its nice and stiff in the sprints (and it doesn't creak!!). Awesome bike and I've got some good plans for it next summer. 17lbs as it stands.
