Its personal preferance, i like 780mm bars, i have answer protaper DH 780 on all mu bikes, am, DH but its because i rly like big bars.

They both have 1" rise,.1/2 and inch is too close to flat, and i dont enjoy that, 1.5" is to big... For my openion.

I have the Answer ProTaper DH bars too. They are really good. I think it would be a good idea to buy 780mm bars, try them out, and cut them down if you want something shorter.
