Question on the side, being 1.85m tall, what size would you recommend me ? 18"?

Posted: Jul 30, 2012 at 14:08 Quote
I'm 1.82 and mine is a 18', unfortunately i found myself between an 18 and a 20' but prefer to have a smaller rather than larger bike as its easier to chuck about. havent had any issues

Same height as me, I have an 18 but wish I'd bought a 17.

So when are the upgrades starting james?

have you scratched yet?

Posted: Jul 30, 2012 at 14:20 Quote
No scratches yet even though i had an off at gisburn (steep section of wet tree roots with drops). banged my elbow which has prompted the purchase of pads.

What upgrades anyway? I want a DH bike to go with the 5........Confused

the idea of an AM is to have a DH and XC bike in one.

upgrades like rims and hubs, drivetrain to full Xtr Shadow, headset.

cassette and mech is £160 each but hell its good.

as soon as I get the Remedy 8 im selling full XT groupset and straight to full XTR

I'm really happy with the bike, only thing id change would be going to a single ring with chain device but i need to get fitter first...... maybe a CCDB too...

we had a session in the shop the other day, fooooooooking stunning!!! but your AM is just as capable in the UK, single ring = defo CCBD = sick defo! wheel upgrade to crossmax sx = defo.
