I did it in grade nine. My school didn't do it in levels but I got 110 "beeps". 105 is concidered perfect. I could have gone on for probly a little bit longer, but decided not to utterly kill myself for hockey I had that night. The best I've ever heard of is the school record of 160 beeps. I know the guy and he's an amazing runner who always placed top 3 in OFSAA (All Ontario XC Finals). He even went to Kenya to compete in some race. Cool shit.
So what level is 110? Would that be like level 11?
In grade 9 when i did it we had to do it three time the first time I got 9 and the second time I got 10. Then this year in grade 11 I got to 13.2, im hoping to get higher than 14 the second time I do it!
I play football so i'm not an all out track star. More power off the line..more or less..i gor like 80 somthing. not bad for a guy that's trying to shove 240 pounds of person around in like 5 seconds.
I've taken quite a few. The farther you go in hockey it seems the more efficient the beep test actually is. When I first did it I was getting around 10.6 (thats when I wasn't doing any training). I've done it three or four times since and at this years training camp I ended up with about 12.7. I was really pushing for 13 but it was still pretty good seeing as I was 4 years younger than most of the guys at camp.
the lovely beep tests, have to do them 3 times every year for rugby.. grade 9 was my first year.. i got a 8.. last year i was in grade 11.. and got to 12.6.. as you can probably tell i have changed over the years..
