I ride a 2011.

It's a large, i'm 6foot1. Cock pit isn't overly big on the wilson, its a long bike though. Felt slightly too long with a 50mm stem, spot on with a 42mm.

Thanks!

What exactly is the diference between the 2011 & 2012 models (except color)? I know there's a partly-carbon-version available but any other Big changes?

I would assume it's all the same. Geo etc was dialed on the 2011.

ok, so me being 5'9 would fit a "M" i guess...?

they say it's BB runs pretty low, i currently run on an intense 951 which i feel is waaaaaayyy low (hitting cranks at rocks quite often) - is it really that low?

Ya, it really is that low. I'd get the medium at 5'9.

Frequently touch my front heel on the ground during bottom out, obviously crank positioning effects that and I rode the vast majority of the season chainless, but it can happen.

Destroyed 2 right pedals on In Deep last year.

But it rails corners, ploughs like a f*cking champ, pedals well and jumps really well. I rode a demo once last season, made me want to cry.

Ok so M it would be...

Still unsure if to get 2011 or 2012 Version since no word spread about major differences Year-wise... 2011s are a bargain compared to 2012 versions... are the non-Carbon frames much heavier than their counterparts?

@jsteer: you run the Wilson with a fox40 or boxxer??

oh, word from DEVINCI:

"The 2012 carbon is pretty much the aluminum version but with carbon seat stays.
Some minor modification was brought to the 2012 model compared to the 2011.
178cm – Medium"

Nice! Looking strongly towards the 2011 "M" now...

Running a Boxxer WC at the moment, hate it. I ride Whistler which is the home of brake bumps and the Boxxer WC is not supple in the beginning stroke, means the worst Whistler hands after short periods even after a season of conditioning.

If i can pick up a cheap 888 EVO TI I will definitely be replacing it.

In regards to weight, the only difference is the carbon seat stay. The weight difference would be negligible, it would probably just slingshot you out of corners a little better (but you would only notice it if you are an absolute pinner). The Wilson isn't exactly the lightest frame around, but all the weight is really low down so it rides light.

I have read you can adjust a hi/lo setting? They say it affects the BB height, what position are you riding in?

Ride low and slack. No desire to flip the chip.

On a serious note, just buy it. I could not be happier with mine and the only frame i would replace it with is..... none. I would just buy a carbon seat stay.
