Hi, I want to buy a Commencal Supreme DH 2012 Frame, but I want to know if it can fit the bb that comes into Demo 8 2012 Bike, because I have the parts of this bike.

What I find is this:

Commencal Supreme DH 2012 - BOTTOM BRACKET WIDTH
Type Cranks 83mm Press Fit Shimano BB92

Specialized Demo 8 2012 - BOTTOM BRACKET
SRAM PF30 DH, 83mm shell

Can you help me guys?.

Thank you in advance!

Totally different bb standard.

No, you can't use a PF30 bb from a '12 Demo in a '12 Supreme.

So there is two differ press fit standards? I'm wondering because I would think a press fit is a press fit, should be the same size. This would be good info to know for future reference.

Specialized Demo is a PF30 BB, a SRAM standard. Supreme V3 is a BB71, a shimano standard. Neither is interchangeable.

What's the difference? Just curious.

Axle size on the cranks and BB size. Nothing is interchangeable between the two. I'd look it up and give you a more in depth answer but I'm on my phone.

I think I get the jest of it. Just got to look into it more myself. I'm not really looking at a press fit BB frame right now anyways, just looking for a quick and easy answer.
