I'm hearing that people are being made wear pads etc and no one is allowed on like 80% of the track...??? What's the story

its Val di Sere where there doing that. Its a rule about races in France, all riders must have back protector, knee pads, gloves and helmet.

Yeah it's the french cycling board , they made them wear back plates and elbows last season too.
Makes sense really , I mean if the kit is so uncomfortable that they dont use it then maybe the protection companys need to design some better kit.
