Depending on your riding style, what company of tire, and if its 1 or 2 ply,
Myself, i am 155lbs with gear on, im an expert rider, and i run 2 ply Schwalbe tires. I use 27-28 PSI in the back and 24-25 in the front.
Another thing that can help reduce flats is a tubeless conversion kit, you can run your tires up to 5 psi lower.
Remember that for downhill, the tire can act as an extra 1" of suspension, and once you get your pressures dialed it, you can notice a dramatic difference in how you bike handles.
