Hey! Any one out there ridden the BMC trailfox? I just sold my '14 enduro 29er comp, and a shop was going to order me a 2017 enduro, but that offer fell through. On the pinkbike buy/sell there are good options for carbon enduro 29ers and some carbon BMC trailfoxes that are in my price range.
I ran the 650b shock yoke on my old Enduro, and loved the lower BB. I would like the HTA even slacker though. The BMC can take 2 offset bushings, which about equals the 650 shock yoke mod on the Enduro, but the BMC can also take an angleset, which the Enduro can't.
Interesting choice of brake for a trail bike. What's the deal?
The m615 brakes had too flexible brake lever body causing leaks, and failed threads for the Torx screws: [L=https://mtbboy1993.wordpress.com/2017/04/28/long-term-review-on-3-bikes-shimano-deore-m615-i-spec-b-brake-set/]
So I went for mechanical brakes, I don't think I will be switching to hydraulic brakes anytime soon.
The TR[/L]P Spyke worked well so far, but there is up and down play, at least I got brakes that will work for a long time without failing.
