Building a new (am) wheelset, going with 2nd hand King, or 2nd hand or new Hope hubs & Mavic 819 or Spank Oozy rims.
The e Thirteen TRS+ wheels looks pretty good to but pricey $1000 with tax on sale, bit to much when you can do the others for about 600.
Any advice?

I personally think that the Hope/Mavic combo is really good, I personally don't like tubeless wheels but this is the UST wheelset used where I work and I've not heard any complaints.
Also have a look at some Shimano XT AM wheels, I'm not certain as to the price but they look great and a friend of mine really likes his, although they don't have the great ratcheting sound of Hope hubs they seem to run just as well.
Hope this helps

Do the King hubs on E.13 rims. The TRS+ rims are 390g each. I have them on my Black Market.

That would be nice, decided on the Hopes (new) though, with some cheaper rims (mavic en521). and saving for the TRS+ man they are expensive.

Oozy rims are great the extra width compared to my old 719's allows me to run lower pressure, and they set up tubless with a floor pump. 819 are also very nice. already tubless so no tapeing required.

819s are over rated
