I once combined Magura and Shimano fluid. It turned purple.

Anyone use shimano oil in tektor brakes?

I've done tektro oil in shimano brakes. Don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around.

Mineral oil is mineral oil more or less. Unless it's not.

Thoughts on parks tool grease vs regular (canadian tire) grease?
Buy whatever cheapest. I’ve used a tub of wheel bearing grease for years now from Napa auto.

For generic grease, almost anything will work. When it comes to more precise things like freehub pawls or headset bearings, I tend to stick with more specific greases.

Im with you on freehub pawls, but why do HS bearings need somethin special?

I use something that's specific for bearings usually, i.e. designed for parts that move against each other vs being designed for parts that are stationary. I really like the Muc Off Bio grease for headset and hub bearings.

Can I mount my rear wheel with a thru axle as opposed to a qr with a formula 32h hub.

Are you asking about the hub or the bike?

If the hub has threads on the ends of the hub and not pull off endcaps then more than likely no. If it has pull off endcaps like Hope or DT Swiss you could convert it to 10x135mm thru-bolt (not axle). This is basically a QR but is one long threadless bolt that both takes the weight and clamps on the frame.
