Have had my Schwalbe ones for quite a few years now, they're holding up well.

An possibly related thing - every wheel I've seen that's been leaking from the lockring has turned out to be air leaking out from under the tubeless tape. It then exits the rim cavity via the valve hole below the sealing head of the tubeless valve because it can't get past the spoke nipples. Might be the case for you?

I Have recently fitted muc off valves, seam to be holding up really well, + you get different sizes of rim seal so you can fit the best suited to your rim

I just fitted a tyre yesterday, saw a cut on the tape not so far from the valve. Might be the case

Yeah, that looks like it would have done it. It works fine to patch tubeless tape like that in a pinch, just as long as you use a long enough strip.

I use fast orange, it has sand in it, and it works like magic to get all the grease, filings, and crud out of your skin.
