Weird and niche question but Does anyone happen to know what rear brake hose length a 2022 status 160 S4 may need ? I found a good deal on some used mt7s but the rear hose is cut to around 60in so 1500mm and I’m not sure if that would work

Buy it if you want it and if the hose is too short, buy a new hose.

Does anyone know the Axle to Crown height on the fork on a 2022 Rocky Mountain Blizzard 20?
I've searched endlessly and not been able to find it.

I bought a used frame to replace the frame on my 2016 Blizzard -30 (tapered), but I understand the geometry is different on the 22, and want to know how far out I'll be if I re-use the fork from my old Blizzard.
I did a rough measurement on my 2016, and it seems like it is about 495mm

Isn’t the axle to crown measurement based on the fork? It’s not dependent on the frame.

On the 2016, the HTA is 67.6
On the 2022, the HTA is 66.0

With the same length fork, it seems to me that the BB will be lower - I just don't know how much lower. Obviously it would make the new frame less slack too. (Not that it might be overkill to have it at 66deg anyhow?)

No, I haven't. I'm kinda perturbed from my last contact with them so thought I'd see if anyone here either knew where to find the info, or had one they could make a rough measurement on.

Spoke tension checker tool worth buying? I usually go on the pitch of a tapped spoke but is that accurate enough to reduce the risk of a wonky wheel rim?

TIA!

If you have the budget worth it 100%

Hi there. What’s the telltale signs of cavitating/warranty Fox shocks that have been such an issue lately?

I have a brand new Nomad with a DHX2. I’m getting a slight knocking feeling right at the very start of the stroke that I can feel in my handlebars. Checked the headset, pivots and everything else and they’re all tight, incl. preload collar. Any thoughts? Is this the standard fox issue? Thanks

im pretty sure its a squelching sound, and it only happens with the air float x2

Exactly. Definitely not a knocking sound. Check your shock bushings or shock mounts. That could be the knocking sound.

too small of a diameter of coil? worth installing it with no coil just for kicks

Santa cruz shock mounting bolts have to be done up tight as f*ck, otherwise you get a knocking feeling from the hardware shifting about. Check your torques and you may find the problem is solved

What is better for the bike park, dual or single crown fork? Will dual restrict you from tight tech sections and turns
