yo i just bought a 2013 demo 8 and it comes with avid 5 custom brakes and i spent couple of hours bedding them in and they were crap i mean really crap and after i left it over night to carry on riding it nxt day and my rear brake wouldn't work :S so i took the pads out of the rear calliper and i saw there was some brake fluid around the piston.. is this normal? what should i do the rear brake dosn't even pump up
I would take it straight back to the shop - its obviously not set up correctly. And damn you for living in the UK, i still don't know when mine is going to arrive.
Typically avids don't bed in well, and often have to be bled when out of the box. I would suggest up-rating to the new Shimano saint setup because it is simply unbeatable!
