Hi guys really need some help, ive had a scratch in my boxxers for a while, it does need replacing and they're 2010 so no warranty im afraid. How do I go about changing the stanchion (right side). I made a start but think i have gone wrong (following srams instruction video thing, this link is just below). I removed the stanchion, then removed the snap ring that holds the rebound assembly in, but the rebound assembly still wont come off:

As it does in this at 3:40 onwards : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9Xd4BQ2ghE

So then i thought that this might be because it might be attached to something so i removed the rod and rest of the assembly the other side of the stanchion (where the compression nobs are) and drained the oil but I still can't get the rebound assembly out of the stanchion. PLEASE HELP
