Personally I'd go with either the Big Hit or Faith because neither of those bikes have issues with brake jack.

Im partial to big hits, but i do like the kona stinky. If your going for a big hit, id look into a 2007 and newer.

i would go with the faith because of the suspension design

I love my faith. What year are you looking at? I have the 2010 and find it awesome. Stock spec is pretty decent to. Good for trail and FR/DH. It's a real good all round bike.

If you have time to look at another, the trek sessions are all great bikes. Another one to think about.

People here are right and wrong, kona stinks are TERRIBLE for brake jack. However, if you get one with the dope braking bar kit then they honestly do change so much. I've owned both and boy is the extra £50 worth it!

kona suck, they will break and are crappy, the big hit are really heavy and not as playful as some other bikes. without a doubt the giant faith i better than any the other you metioned. is there like a budget or something for the bikes you have chosen?

I am trying to find either a kona stinky for under 800 or a trek sessions for under 800 as well. Which one would be better and why?

A trek session by 10 fold.

the quality of trek surpasses kona by a mile
