You will get through it J, I had a fairly long term relationship end in 2015 shortly after losing my job. She was financially dependent on me and there where certain things I was committed to paying (a few of her things where financed under my name and her phone bill was under my name) buying myself out was nearly 5k, 5k I didn't have. I got through it eventually my credit suffered a bit but I bounced back just like you will.
thanks man I know I will but the stress is getting there

My manager left his wallet at a fuel station there. That's all i've got.
Nice, I look out for it.
He got it back somehow (even though he was back in the uk)

Yeah, the top spec Commencal hardtail AM is only 600$ shipped through a friend, I’m gonna put some links to dh bikes I’m eyeballing

They still make a CrMo hardtail?

sosburn wrote:
youre probably right, i just prefer short travel full sus over hardtails. actually i think i just dont like riding hardtails. also lmao PP

I agree, and most people would also, but economically speaking, a hardtail tends to be quite less for a still very capable and responsive bike.

Gonna put this in writing more for my own edification than from a belief that my advice will be heeded.
A DH bike and a long travel HT are not a sufficient replacement for a trailbike. Neither are the right tool for the job for 90% of rides.

Well I already know you're a hardtail doubter, but come on, 90%? Vastly inflated. There is a small amount of niche trails where a well built hardtail and a DH bike would not be well suited. Calling them not the right tool for the job is like saying use a drill instead of a screwdriver.

Go fund me? Funding money for a thesis would be a rather compelling bid.

No there is not because of her complete lack of control over her own money she dragged me into her debt as I can't even get a f*cking loan to get out of this one

So essentially she bent me the f*ck over

How much are you talking about?

1300 I'll figure this one out or I'll be bent over

Well, 1300€ is not a whole lot of cash. Can't you simply take a bank credit?

if you go full dh you should get a short travel bike over aggressive hardtail.

130/140mm hardtail with a 1x and dropper would be a great pair with a DH. Something like a Honzo, RSD Middlechild, PP Shan, or a Marino.

Yeah, the top spec Commencal hardtail AM is *******pretty cheap ************* I’m gonna put some links to dh bikes I’m eyeballing

FYP

Definitely maiden for what youre doing. legend is too race oriented. idk about nukeproof but still probably more race-y whereas the maiden is a park bike

Banshees are taiwanese junk. please do not. the maiden is the best of those.
