Next month I'll get the rockrider AM100

Tis a start
I'll ride it as is before I do any changes but I have my eyes set on new brakes, what's the hot go to these days? Deore's? Full yolo and zee?

I have Zees on my bike currently. Really like them.

Brakes are definitely a good upgrade for that bike - they're the first thing I would change on there. With the price of the bike though - I don't know if it's worth spending like £200 on a set of zees.

Deores would be a really nice sensible upgrade - and if you sold the brakes that come stock on it as brand new brakes (take them off before you even ride the bike), the upgrade to deores won't cost you much at all!

Alternatively if you plan on getting a full sus eventually you could buy the zees, keep the original brakes and then when you come to sell the rockrider you could reinstall the stock brakes and keep hold of your zees.

Other upgrades for the rockrider would be new grips and set it up tubeless Smile

We've been having amazingly good weather in the UK. Been like 10-12 degrees for a few days. No frost on cars in the morning. Had some really good rides recently

I've got Tektro Orion 4 pots on my ebike and I am very impressed by them.

I'd go for some slx m7000's. Avoid the XT's

i have zees, but id say theyre not warranted on that kind of bike. SLX is solid.
