Specialized? Oh ok. I thought I saw her with a 951. Maybe that was an old pic.

I'm actually scared of what a girl with that face could do lol I know how to be with a slut-ish girl... but cute girls just make me stupid, would think twice before making the same mistakes again

I've had loads of 24" bikes growing up but my first proper 26" bike was the 2002 Norco Bushpilot which I bought at the age of 10 with all my allowance and xmas/bday money. I don't have any pictures of it but I found this one on the net. I rode XC and dirt jumps on it, and I remember I always wanted to get a pair of 2003 Jr. T's for it, but I never happened. I even recall having dreams of owning a pair haha.

I got a little more serious after that bike and picket up a 2005 Norco Rival which was a fantastic little bike and I still have in my garage today. I then moved from Halifax NS to Ottawa ON where we have a local hill to ride DH. I rode my Rival there for a year and got absolutely hooked. Bought my first DH bike at the age of 15 I think, it was a 2003 Balfa BB7. Both of these bikes can be seen here.

I loved the BB7 but I wanted to start racing so decided to buy (2 years later) a 2007 Devinci Wilson 2 frame as well as a 2009 boxxer WC which just happened to be one of Steve Smith's spares. I was too poor to buy a proper sized crank set so the whole bike was Frankensteined together and it never rode that great but I was still able to get faster and better on it.

At this point I had a part time job and was able to afford a new DH bike. I got a 2010 Scott Gambler. This bike was sick, my only problem with it was a crappy headset bearings and that is wasn't easy to clean. I had a major learning curve riding this bike, and I got more serious with the racing. I actually sold this bike to a guy who was living in BC, so I shipped it across the country, and the guy now lives in Brazil and still rides the bike.

After selling the gambler I got a 2011 Specialized Demo 8 which I still ride today. I don't race as much anymore but still go riding often. Hands down the best bike I've ever owned. I also have a 2009 Santa Cruz Superlight 1X9 that I used for XC. Here are those 2 bikes:

1988 Little Kid BMX (Huffy PK Ripper) Did pumps, small jumps and drops and DH on a small hill near our house. Not my pics, just what my bike would have looked like, since I did it in secret or my mom would have had a fit.
This is the closest one I could find.

Did a lot of martial arts, airsoft, hunting, camping etc...

Feb2011 Then got a Giant Revel XC bike from my dad. SInce I gained a lot of weight @ 220lbs....(I had no plans of biking then) Got on the bike, and fell in love....
MY XC trail bike being serviced.

March 2011 The first drop I did with an XC HT.....I was able to land it, not so smoothly, but my hands were cold and shaking...I then saw Andrew Taylor do a 360, whips and the other stuff that he does and I was like:" You can do those on a mountain bike?!" That was the time I got hooked.
Rockis of the trail...Slippery after the rain.
More ROckies

May 2011 Then I got into pumping and learning how to ride berms, got me a more sturdy HT frame, My Ex then left me because she thought that I was riding my bike more that I was paying her any attention.
Muddy ride

June 2011 I did so many trails on my HT, yet I was itching for a full suspension frame. Then I got a great deal on a full suspension frame. HARO SHift r5
My AM Trail Bike
August 2011 Joined my first DH race and got 3rd place in my category. I was hooked all the more..
Then I broke the Haro bike frame after a number of trails...I think the frame just gave way...I did not crash with the bike getting all mangled, so I guess it just gave...
After that I did less riding since I got married and had a daughter..So busy with the changes in my life....

July 2012 I then got a sponsor who gave me this new rig.
Dh BIke thanks to sponsor Gene s MTBike Adventures
Won me 1st place in my category at a local race. I plan to do more Trail and AM riding, and compete on Some races, but not professionally...Just for fun. This is the rig I use now. It's not the latest model, but it's a burly beast, reliable and I can use it to climb up hills for AM/FR with the Durolox Fork.
Bottom Out Year Ender Race bagged 1st place for 29Below on my latest rig.

My very first bike, still at my parents house. Its a Mongoose Mighty Mite.
My very first bike. A Mongoose Mighty Mite

This is my 2nd bike, also a BMX, had a great time with this one. Also still at my parents house. I hopped on to see if it still pedaled ok, cranks spun but the rear wheel didn't.
My 2nd bike a Schwinn SX2000

This is my 3rd bike, its my first mountain bike, a 93 Specialized Hardrock. I was having a little more fun than the bike wheels could handle. That crash also caused the shifters and my saddle to break. Wasn't worth reviving. It served me well for 18 years.
The final ride of my 93 Specialized Hardrock

After the Hardrock I decided it was time for a DH bike. So I went with a 2011 Specialized Big Hit III. Right now the only upgrade I have is an Answer ProTaper DH 780 bar. I just put in an order for Answer grips and stem and am saving up for some Hayes Stroker Aces.

you could get way better brakes than aces... like codes... any shimano that fits your budget... or even formulas if you get the extra $$$

on another note, I kinda ended up buying my first bike again, my brother owes me US$100 so...

I'm kinda back with the bike i started riding with, back in 2003 or 2004

Thanks for posting..and 18years is a damn long time for that bike, almost as old as me.. and "Mongoose Mighty Mite" is a funny name lol.

Started with a few walmart style bike. I remember doing some jump over a metal spade in my street. When i was around 12, i bough a trek 4300 in 19" to hit dirt jumps... I managed to snap the bottom braked hitting a 5' drop to flap on it...
Unsecure image, only https images allowed: http://imgc.classistatic.com/cps/poc/120703/012r1/65713ml_27.jpegThen i found out that real dirt jump bikes existed and that i needed one in order to jump properly. Bough a brodie hellion, new, from the LBS for 1150$, probly a 2004 or something around those years. Then again, after 2 weeks i broke the fork. After 1 season with it, i sold it for 350 without a rear wheel because it was absolutly dead, rubbing on the frame, not even able to spin anymore.
After this i new that i needed something stronger and better, but didn't have enough money to afford a new one. I was probly 16 years old at this time. Bought a huck machine, a evil imperial 2004 from a guy on pinkbike. I used to love that bike. I tough it looking so sick and i was rocking 24" mag 30 wheels.
Sold the evil the year after because my bike buddy sold his to buy a car. Then went to college for the next 5 years so i had no time or money for a bike. Finally got back to it last year, but this time, i started DH and absolutly loved it. Bough a cheap demo 7 2007 for 900$.
White MTX 33 coming on next week
Then bough a wheel set for it, probly not the best idea to go white, but there was no more mtx 33 black on CRC.
new mtx 33
Loved this bike! Went to whistler with it and my only complain was the brakes, juicy 7 that probly needed a bleed and brake pads... Sold it at the beggining of this year because i had bough my new bike already. A demo 8 II 2012, can't wait for the season to begin now so i can try it out!
Damn snow

So that's my history, rode a bike my whole life, always enjoyed it without knowing anything about pinkbike or any other community. Did dirt jump without knowing it was called dirt jumps. Stoped for 5 years because of time and money but i'm so glad i'm back on a bike! Going to whistler again this summer and i really hope i'll have the best riding summer ever!
