HK is really coming together. They just need to ge the site rated so I can get to it from work.
How does that get done? Is there a particular rating agency we should start with first?
No, wait, it's blocked again. I just get a warning that says that I "shouldn't" go to the site because it is unrated.
I have no idea how it is done.
I have not been able to get to HK from work, ever. I work government so our IT stuff is pretty secure. Here is the message I get : The Web site requested has not been evaluated and categorized. Since the content of this Web site is unknown, it poses a potential security risk
i can get to the forum index page, but not the individual forums. this is the warning i get:
This site has not been rated. Please use caution when accessing this site. Use of the Requested Internet Site must be in alignment with Security Policy. Proxy-Server [hou-proxy4.companyname.net] Access to the website: www.huckingkitty.com may be in breach of company policy. I was able to submit HK for review on the McAfee SiteAdvisor website and the Trend Micro Site Safety Center. Both said it may take a week or two for the process to complete.
Shibi has to jump through a couple of hoops to get the site Norton Safe Web rated.
If you can think of any other rating agencies, please let me know. We'll see what can be done...
