The for that came on my bike has no compression adjuster, or any other adjustments. Except for rebound. So should I get a compression damper installed, or just a new fork?

Thanks
Alec

What fork? Why do you need compression? What's your sag?

Well anyway u want to have 25-30% sag, so a stiffer spring is in order

Get a firmer spring, that's right for your weight. Try it and see how it feels. Go from there.

Get a compression cartridge, In addition to the spring

Your fork not only has no compression adjuster, it doesn't have any compression damper at all. The same fork came on my bike. Had terrible brake dive, go down a rock garden and halfway through the fork would be fully bottomed out, etc. Motion Control IS cartridge was about $35. Damper performance is nowhere near my 36 RC2 but is it decent.

Oh wow... Thanks! I might just be purchasing a new fork all together. I think it would be worth it. And I know of a couple other people who have done the same thing to their bike (the same bike as me)...

Thanks
