don't tone map
by tone mapping your taking the information at the two ends of your image (near to over and underexposed) and bringing all of that into what you can see on your moniter. it lowers contrast.
thus lossing texture. also watch out for hot spots in the forest. cause thats all my eye was looking at in the picture

thanks for the crit.

i havent gotten fully comfortable on ps yet, and im only using a point and shoot so you have to bear with me. as for the tone mapping i just thought it gave this picture a cool effect
