Yeah really looking forward to this place opening. We currently drive two hours each way to Llandegla as it's the easiest to get to for us. BPW is going to be near Mertha Tydfil which is'nt any nearer but it sounds epic. Eight trails and uplift service!

Hi Guys, I've been following this for a while now. Its being built in Gethin Woods near Mertha Tydfil, about 20mins from Cardiff. There was talk of a Ski Lift but I''m pretty sure thats been scrapped in a favour of numberous top end trucks. The main man behind the project is Rowan Sorrell, he and his team have pretty designed and built most of the stuff in South Wales and just finished the newest run up the FOD. The budget is huge and the aim is to make a Whistler type bike here in the UK, The plan is to open in September this year but a guess that depends alot on wether we have a good summer weather wise. I personally cant wait as its gonna be another fantastic addition to an already amazing DH scene in my area. Man I love my Country.
