yeh i think you can get that this year, depends what you want

the float is light, van is simple and talas has adjustable travel

I have a 2012 Transition Bottlerocket... Does that change anything?

quite a light rear end, so you might consider float as well as van

depends if you want the adjustable 160-180?

Would having the option of 180 mess up the geometry? And thanks!

The talas is a good fork as any of the others if you buy second hand and are not capable of servicing your fork make sure its already serviced. I have a 08 talas and its really smooth easy to adjust due to being air. Theyre very easy maintain as well.
