I think you win for now lol I'm thinking about using vegetable oil in my brakes because they DESPERATELY need a bleeding and I'm broke.... how badly do you think this'll end?

Yes. It's extracted from many vegetable seeds.


Due to it's poor temperature management, it may cause the brakes to fail under long descents.

Also brake oil is pretty cheap. Just get some real shit.

Don't even, man. DOT fluid is pretty cheap if it's Avids and if it's Shimanos, you can buy LHM plus hydraulic fluid for car transmission, which is the same thing as Shimano mineral oil, and way cheaper http://www.peterverdone.com/archive/bikemineraloil.htm

Any one know the best way to shave/cut of the integrated gyro mounts on my og sunday bmx frame was thinking of using a hack saw then a file but it looks quite tight for the saw to fit in
