OK this might be a silly question but is everyone running clip-ins for races? I tried them on my DH rig after Megav but I was planning on just running flats on my 4x bike. Is it more of a personal preference thing?

Down to personal preference.

Are Argyles 302 decent for 4X?

Eh, they're not bad. Something with adjustable compression is better, but if they're what you have, then rock em!

Yeah I'll be there.

Has anyone spotted any decent 4x-able forks in the new year sales?

I bought some Manitou circus from CRC but they have a tapered steerer and they won't fit my frame.

as long as you're ok with a bit of a heavier fork, this should do perfectly

Cheers buddy, I've looked at the Argyle and the DJ1 but I've found some Circus comps with a 1 1/8th steerer I really like the sound of the Absolute+ adjustment, weight wise there all pretty similar so I think I'll go with them once CRC have refunded me.

Anyone heard about the new Scottish 4x series?

I've seen a bit about it, how many tracks are up there btw?

They have a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/scottish4x?fref=ts which has all the info. I think I read this year its going to be 2 races and if all goes well a full season in 2015.

would love to see this in the uk. With places like Westfield in London there is more than enough space and to make it happen. Although I doubt the shopping centres would want to lose the money shutting it for an evening.
