hi all,
is there anyone have experienced putting enduro seal to 2010 marzocchi 44ti?
i have just ordered from jenson and just find out the dust seal from enduro have a bigger outer lip, hence it cannot fit in.
the question is, is it ok if i just cut the outer lip of the dust seal so it can fit in??
or i have to order new seal??
fyi, the original seal does not have seal lip, the form just straight tube
btw, returning the seal its not an option since the postage and custom its too much.
your response would be apreciate.
tx,
Johann

i ordered base on their advertise.
it says enduro seal for marzocchi 32mm and i read n enduro sites it fits wit marz 44.
the packaging says its for marzocchi 32mm.
and the seal code (printed above the seal lips) has the same code as the original too.
the difference only the seal lip.
the excess about 0.5 mm, and be.cause of that, it cannot fit (the lips contacted with the inner part of the fork bridge).
i will try to post the pic to give a better view.

Man...I just found this after I ordered seals for my 2012 44 Micro Switch TA.

Anybody get around this issue besides returning it? Confused

I don't know about the fitment of 2012 44, since mine is 2010 44rc3ti.

in the end I just cut off the excess lips so it can fit to it. I am using it for about a year or so and found zero problem. Now the fork is already sold. I am selling it not because the seal issue.
enduro works fine in it.
