I'll scroll through my messages and find the best one. I'll also post a picture of what my mate got offered to swap for his 223 frame, the guy was going into like his car alloys, stereo, DJ decks etc.
I haven't had any bad experiences with this. Thank god. In New Zealand though, things are generally sold for much, much more than they are worth.
For example, this:
Unsecure image, only https images allowed: http://images.trademe.co.nz/photoserver/full/267910138.jpg The person selling it wants NZ$4500, or US$3649.50
when i was selling my buddys basically new 831 kashima really with like no scratches , all i asked was 450
so one kid told me hes buying it , and theres are my too options
1. 300 dollars he picks up
2. 350 i deliver 2h to him
never once have i seen someone lowball this hard , and then the funny thing is he started getting mad using caps lock , but he wasnt really making any sense , then at the end of it all , hes just like " dont worry i got names , faces , and license plates now
When I was selling my RCT, the asking price was $400. I got a message with an offer to trade me one gameboy advance, one DS, ~15 games for the gameboy, 1 for the DS, a PS2, ~20 games for the PS2, a stock DK wheel, and a cheap snowboard. I add $50 cash.
Edit: oh, and I got offers for $800 almost daily on my Wilson.
