I just don't get how some people think anyone (who is forward and expects some open communication) would ever just shovel over the ca$h and leave it up to the obviously suspicious peep selling to do the right thing. I wonder what his reason for no local pick up would be?

I realised when he said the sale will be handled by my local bike shop as this is exactly what happened the first time and then it went into the whole Bike 24 Hour thing,

If you paid I believe it is fraud and you will need to go to the police

If you paid via bank contact you bank right away and they can usually reverse the payment and hopefully you will hget your money back important you retain all the proof that you mentioned as they might ask to see it,

I guess PB get so much email it takes a while to proccess it or perhaps because he hadnt actually tried to scam me yet it was not clear if he was a scammer or not,

It’s right to be wary however some buyers may have to make an account to message you , hence the new account. Local pick up should be fine just make sure you meet in a communal place (a police station car park is always a good shout). Don’t allow any test rides or hand the bike over without payment and take a friend with you, follow the above and you should be fine

I attempted to purchase a Santa Cruz Bronson from this dude. Tolliver Is his user name. Took my money and will not send the bike or send my money back. Been in touch with Venmo and the local authorities.
