I recently broke the frame of my RM Vertex Team SC (26, model 2002) and now I am looking for a solid replacement. I am willing to consider all possible options in terms of wheel size, HT vs FS, components, brand etc.
I came across an interesting deal at one of my LBSs. They are offering RM Vertex 950 RSL and Cannondale F29 Carbon 3 (both 2013 models) at about same price of 2700 EUR (cca. 2100 USD). I would be grateful if somebody experienced could chime in and elaborate on these two choices/alternatives.
I will definitely test them before I make decision. The Cannondale F29 doesn't seem to have 142 x 12 mm rear thru axle. Does it make any difference?
