GO TOP

lier , i saw you in the jump pit, you were just sittin there smokin crack!!!

JK, Top have dialed geo, but if you want a lighter street bike sub 30lbs, it may be easier to go with a blk mrkt mob or dobermann pinscher, they also may be cheaper

Your friend is a whiny bitch if he has a problem with his buddy having the same frame. Don't make yourself run bad gear just so you stand out, thats just dumb.

Amen

The riot is by FAR a better frame then the top, if your friend has a problem with you owning one then he isn't much of a friend at all. You could always just get a different color then he has.

there ain't no way it's 400 bucks...i grabbed mine for 525 plus tax at my lbs...did i get ripped?!? another thing that threw me off was when i went to pick up my raw frame, there was a white one hangin' on the wall for 425!!! aaargh!!! where'd you cats find ToP frames for 400?!?...tell me!!! i'm goin' to head down to my lbs and cuss, then hustle for parts dammit.

anways, i decided on my ToP 'cause it was really between it and the pinscher...i said nah to blk.mrkt 'cause i wasn't concerned with having the shortest chainstay on the market or a 5 lb. frame...i wanted something solid, and to me it was 6.4 lbs. of chromoly...i had already decided to off.set the weight with my components.

so...it was between the pinscher and ToP...y'know, i really wanted a dob 'cause you gotta' love the quebecois, and it'd be a great way to represent the true north strong and free...but the welds on the ToP, and the gusset...which was the fattest and burliest of the three frames mentioned impressed me most. i was looking for bomb.proof qualities, and as great as dobermann is, the ToP inspired the confidence i was lookin' for in a frame. in terms of geo, i was adamant about having a low bb height running 26s and a head.tube angle nearest to 70 degrees...these two factors screamed Trail or Park.

no regrets, and yo...it's not that heavy, c'mon now...what counts is final weight, and that's if weight even matters. Transition Trail or Park fo' sho' Smile oh yah, forget to mention i had a budget of 600 tops...otherwise...haha Smile

well u probably got ur ToP wen the canadian dollars was weak, so it would be expensive in canadian dollars(cus its $400 us) but ur lbs still should've givin u a deal if u go there often. And now since the candian dollar are basically equal, i am converting 400-420cnd into 400 us so i can walk straight into my pounds and say i got 400 us, gimme the ToPBig Grin
