Hi everyone

I'm thinking about to spend some weeks (unfortunatly not in a row) in UK. I've got some direct flights to Birmingham, otherwise I have to go by Heathrow. I'm looking for proper DH trails, I don't really care about the wheater conditions eather about the distance to the airport as long as I can have fun. So far, I watched some vids of Hamsterley which seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.

Can anybody helps me? Smile

Hamsterley is good. The track are rough and there is a bit of everything.
If you don't mind up then Shropshire is a good area. Bringewood, Hopton and Bucknel are all god and within 10miles of each other.
Scotland is the mutts nuts though with fort Bill, Dunkeld , Glen Coe , Ae forest etc

North Wales is pretty stacked too, you've got Antur Stiniog, Revolution bike park and Llangynog pretty close together along with quite a few others.

First holiday will be April 18-28. The bikeparks / trails should be open than, don't they?

Most places (if not all) in the uk are open all year round only place I know of in the uk that shuts is redhill and thats a 4x track.

Llangollen is private land and not open most of the time but e-mail martin@onegiantleap.llangollen.co.uk closer to the time and you might get lucky.
