You need to add two spacers (included in the box) on the air shaft.

Please look at this video - it's for NCr but the procedure and air spring is the same.

again.. about those cr/ncr travel spacers. They are really hard to get in europe at the moment. Hack or optional spacer ideas needed.

I am having 55 CR with 10 and 20mm spacers inside. 140mm travel at the moment. I would like to use that fork in my up coming dirt jump/ bmx track hardtail, with 100mm travel.

some pvc pipe? Spacer from another brand?

I would also love to buy spacer, if anyone have them for sale. Or link in some online shop, with spacers in stock would be a treat.

THX!!!!

MARZOCCHI 55- Stanchions- are they all the same?
Can I swap the stanchions from the Micro Switch with the RC3 evo2 TI etc?
I need a longer steerer tube, and I'm not worried about colours etc,
What stanchions/steerer will fit the RC3 evo2 ti?
so I can just swap the internals and maybe add or leave a spacer

As far as I remember, all 55 models are cross compatible. As are 350 models if you can find a cheap set of espresso stanchions.

It's 285 mm if I recall correctly.
Can measure it exactly if you need great precision.
Spring on the 160 mm and 170 mm MZ forks is the same.
The 55 RC3 Evo Ti V2 spring also fits in the 350 NCR Ti.

The MZ drawings list the same spring for the 170 mm 55 RC3 V2 Evo and for the 350 NCR Ti 160 mm.
Moreover, the 2017 170 mm NCR Ti has the same spring as the 160 mm 2015 model. I've fitted a 55 170 mm travel spring in an 160 mm 350 NCR Ti no problem at all. Also run a 2017 350 NCR Ti 170 mm reduced to 160 mm. Have not changed the spring. Works very sweet.

Go to a local Motoshop if you have one and pick up a quart of 90wt and 7.5wt fork oil.

You'll save money vs buying the same stuff from your LBS in a smaller container.

Thanx, but:
I found only these:
1. Motul Fork Oil 7.5W Medium Factory Line
2. Motul TransLube 90W

The second is not actually an oil, it's a grease (for boat engines).
Are these good?
Where exactly in fork to use each one of them?

Hello!
By adding a spacer, which comes with all Ti forks purchased retail. (Boxed version).
There is one video guide online. Google "350 NCR Travel change".
Procedure is the same for the NCR Ti. Just pay attention not to use the 20 mm spacer, but a 10 mm one. (Spring will be preloaded too much if shortening the travel by 20 mm. In this case you'll need a shorter spring.)
The 170 mm and 160 mm forks use the same spring length, so no problem at all going from 170 to 160 mm.

Hope this helps.

Hey guys, I know this has been probably covered but I'm looking at a 2012 Marzocchi 55 CR and I'd like to take it down from 170mm to 150mm.

I've read about this spacer but I'm unsure where to locate it. Is it inside and just needs to be moved to the other side of the spring?
