Well f*ck me... thanks evil for making my dream bike a reality, except for that i can never afford it, nor is my team able to get it.
I thought I could never afford one and I worked at a shop that didn't carry them but I still got one.... It's all about what you're willing to sacrifice

bike is so damn fun to ride!
any insurgent owners having issues with the rocker shock interface? bushing play/wear, shock movement?
on the trail I feel like I have a little play somewhere coming from the rear end. I do know I need to replace my rear wheel bearings but I am curious to take the rear shock linkages apart and see if there's anything there.

This forum hasnt really seen any issue with the insurgent or the following. One wreckoning owner had issues with play in main pivot(a few pages back) which was probably due to bad install from mfg(speculation).
Hi, yep that was me. The bike developed play in the main pivot. No one else has had this issue as far as i can tell and the problems happened very soon after purchase. All was sorted FOC and i been riding it ever since with not so much of a hint of a problem.

My 2 rear shock bolts come loose often. Make sure those are tight.

No issues with that so far on my Insurgent but so far it only has about 500 miles on it.

My lower shock (Bike: Following) bolt came loose within a couple hours of riding (bolt was tightened to spec). Not a big issue, a quick application of blue lock-tight has fixed the problem.

Just finished my Following build and I have a really noisy front crank/chain interfacein granny and first few cogs . Its like the chains old and dry (tried two different chains both sounded identical) its 1x11 xt with no spacers on the BB so cant move the chainline any further in board. The chain is lined up front and back when its on the 4th smallest cog. Its like either the cassette needs spacing out or the crankset pulling in. Any ideas?

Mine was the same but significantly improved after a few rides - was a new ring and chain so I think it just takes a few rides to break it in. The chainlink isn't perfect as it will jump from the 1st (largest) sprocket to the 3rd if back-pedalled but I've had this issue on all bikes I've had with 1 x 11 XT.

Whats peoples shock settings with the monarch plus, still messing around with mine on my Insurgent X1 build, I weigh around 200lb and currently running 270psi with all settings currently in the middle of adjustment

Also getting used to the Pike RCT3 after being a Fox fan for the past couple of years!
270 PSI?!?! Damn. I run around 33-35% sag with like 6 bottom out spacers I believe. For me at 200 lbs I run about 205 PSI. I dunno what you mean by you keep all settings in the middle. It's only got rebound adjustments which drives me nuts. Hence why I'm gunna get an X2.

The lyriks cool, I like the fox a lot more though solely because of the HSC and LSC. I dunno if they directly translate but I run about 13-15% sag and 83-85PSI in the front. Depending on weather. For all you RC2 riders out there, I keep the LSC about middle and adjust it two clicks either way as necessary. HSC is totally open, y'all will thank me later for eating up that trail chatter Smile

Thanks for your reply, I think the shock comes with 2 bands as standard but as you run 6 I guess I should try adding a couple and reducing the psi?
If I run less psi at the moment I can bottom out the shock!

No idea, my wife ordered it direct from Evil. She seemed happy with the service she got.

I warned her though, one Evil will likely turn into two Evils!
