Just got back from Pinhoti and Tanasi trail systems. This bike is so fun on the downs and handles the ups great. I'm trying to fight the itch for a 150-160mm 27.5 to take the downs even faster. At the very end of a 25 mile ride, last pedal stroke on the uphill to the final descent my chain popped. Best timing ever, just rode the rest of the way without a chain.

Drove seventeen hours on Saturday; starting from Utah to make it all the way to Washington. Took two days to get settled in to our new place, and now for tomorrow’s plan... to get down and dirty in the PNW.

Now you need to get it dirty, and take it out of the darkness.

The Monarch on my insurgent has always had the sticky feeling which turned into an audible knock when the suspension is compressed about a 1/4 of the way. I desperately want to try the dhx2 just wish someone would say it's as good as the 11/6! These guys sure liked it...and it would look so good with the matching 36!

Nobody will ever say that because it isn't and never will be. 11/6, setup and valved directly for you vs dhx2 valved to work for everyone; skinny, fat, slow, fast, normal, average, different, red, blue or purple. The dhx is a phenomenal shock, but something specifically set up for your weight and speed will make it feel like trash every time.

Yes. You’re also getting 2 shocks in one. In a sense it’s like $600 x 2.

They also valve the 11/6 specifically for your riding style, weight and most importantly your bikes rear suspension characteristics. When I got my 11/6 I didn't have to do anything to it, it came perfectly setup, no tweaking was necessary and it rode phenomenally.

Wonder how far out a new wreckoning with trunnion/boost is? (To go with 11/6 trunnion)
*is push able to upgrade non trunnions(11/6) to trunnion tops?
