Ive decided to go with a Lyrik RC2 160mm on my Insurgent. What offset shall I order ? 37 or 46mm?

My pike was 42mm which came on the bike.

By the sounds of it 37mm are for bikes like transition with the SBG. I've also heard 37 for regular tires, 46 if you're running high volumes like 2.8's. It's such a weird deviation from the 42mm on previous models.

I’m on normal sized 2.3 tyres.

Isn't the RCT3 Lyrik (which comes on the factory build for the Insurgent) a 51mm offset?

Not sure. Have you got a link as everything on the evil website shows it as 42mm offset

AFAIK the 51mm offset is only available on a 29er fork.

The fork is a 46mm offset. Here is a photo of the stamp on my Insurgent LB that I just got a couple months ago.

That’s great. Thanks for that. Mine is the older Insurgent but they are same geometry apparently. Read up on the benefits of a reduced offset fork but not sure whether 37mm is too far.

I don't have, or need a downhill bike, but that new Wreckoning/Insurgent DH build intrigues me.

I’ve gone for some 160mm 46 mm offset lyriks.

Also upped my discs to 203mm and gone flat pedals for a change.

Next thing on wish list is a rear shock.

Hi, quick question...

How fast are evil at sending bearings/bushings to the UK, or can anyone give me the bushing size for the top shock eyelet on my Wreckoning?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Also if anyone has a reasonably priced coil they would consider selling after christmas for the bike I may be interested!

Many thanks,

Mathew!

They have a headquarters in Madrid, Spain. I don't think they would take that long
