Is anyone using a 34t or 36t chainring on their Evil? Wondering how a larger chainring will affect suspension on my wreckoning, whether it be climbing or descending

I ran a 34t on my Wrecker for a while.. I didn't notice an appreciable difference in suspension performance compared against using a 30t.. As a side note; I now run a 30t oval (absolute black) on an Offering and wouldn't switch back to round ever again.

interesting. I binged a few Nate Hills videos last night and he runs a 36t on all his bikes, and i thought that maybe a larger chainring would give me a bit less chainslap on the chainstay, as the 32t im currently using gives a fair amount. maybe ill get a 32t oval ring

I have one.. never used it for my Wrecker.. its 3D printed.. very similar (if not exactly) the same as this.

https://www.shapeways.com/product/X7YKP25SG/bottle-cage-mount-for-evil-bike-frames?optionId=85624474

Its not up for sale actively (as I've forgotten about it), but I'd sell it for sure.

that looks slick but I have a wrecker with bottle cage mounts so that adhesive would be pointless

Anyone have any experience with TAG Metals dropper post that they make? I'm shopping for a dropper as I need to make this happen ASAP.

Also, I emailed @workscomponents again following up, again about their 44/62 2 degree angleset headset. Hoping to get some clarification as to why they didn't release on or near Black Friday last year and what transpired to where it wasn't feasible to sell it yet to the public.

if im not mistaken i read that the PNW posts and tag metals are basically the same. PNW is what i run now and its been flawless over the last 2 years. Every once in a while you need to re-up the internal pressure which requires removing the seat but otherwise no issues at all knock on wood

just saying though, you can get a oneup 170mm dropper from jenson for like a hundred bucks right now. pretty insane
