I am looking for a shock for my v1 wreckoning, does anyone know if this will fit?

RockShox Vivid R2C Rear Shock, 8.50x2.50" (216x63.5mm), B3

What are the chances the EXT Aria fits inside the delta system? those air valves look especially problematic. While I'm smitten by the looks and idea of the Aria, fitment for my Ov2 is keeping me from making a very rash impulse pre-buy. Probably for the better. Hoping for some comments/thoughts on Aria compatibility w/ Evils.

I just put an Ohlins TTX2 on my V2 Offering and the fit was fine. I don't see anything on the EXT that's any different.

How are you liking the Ohlins? I’m getting an air shock and fork for my ebike.

Amazing.
I've never been a fan of RockShox rear shocks and the Super Delux Ultimate on the Offering didn't change my opinion.
The Ohlins turned a really good bike into a beast. Way more poppier and supportive and yet, even better small bump feel.

Was able to go far bigger on the jumps at a Santa Fe flow trail and then dropped 1 click of LSC to get my fastest time ever on a very technical, momentum robbing, rocky, loose trail up here in Los Alamos.

Loving the Ohlins this much has lessened my disappointment at not getting to try the new EXT (which I've been waiting on for 6 months)

Good to hear! Thanks for the feedback.

The new ext air looks gorgeous!

I have also been looking at the Aria for a new shock. The problem for me is that they do not sell the Aria in a size small enough to fit my Evil Following. Does anyone know of any companies that are able to shorten Eye to Eye and stroke on a rear shock? I have seen a few shocks in the BuySell that have been modified to have shorter eye to eye.

Give Suspension Syndicate in Utah a ring. They’re an EXT distributor, maybe they could work some magic on an Aria?

I think the biggest obstacle with the aria on an evil will be adjusting rebound. It was difficult with the storia and looks like the knob will be even more obstructed by a fat air can. I don’t doubt it will offer incredible performance! The ohlins ttx2 really suits evil kinematics with 18,000 mm^3 of spacers.

The bad news:
Looking at the sizing I don't think it would be possible. The closest you can get with the Aria is to take the 185x55 and short stroke it to 175x45. That eye:eye is still too long for your Following (165x45).
The good news:
Ohlins has the TTX2 in 165x45 trunnion.

Not that big a deal as rebound is really a set-and-forget adjustment.

I'm really happy with mine using just the 12,000mm spacer.

it weights the same as a Storia V3, and it will never perform like one, go coil, you'll never regret it!

How are people extracting old bearings from the flip chip? I bought a Wheels MFG bearing press set but it doesn’t have a 19mm drift (the bearing is 11x19x7). I have seen people use PVC and a socket to push it out. Does that work, should I be worried about the bearing splitting?
