I have animal bobs, 7.8 rise and 25 wide and a 21.25 top tube. Anyone else have small bars and a long frame?

Scerbos always seem to work best on a long frame.

I'm 5'7" riding fly montana2 bars - 8.75" rise, 29" wide, 11 deg back sweep, 1.5 deg up, on mutiny top load stem of 23mm lift, 10mm spacer and 15mm tall headset dust cap. 20.8" frame

actually feels quite nice, a bit on the tall side

I just switched to a GY3 bar, (8.66" rise, 12 back 4up and 28") and it feels awesome. I was using a Kink Lynx which is an 8.25 12b 1u and I feel like the upsweep on the taller bar lessens the feeling of the extra height, but still gives the extra leverage of a tall bar.

Plus I been using brakes this winter, and the upsweep feels nice with a lever.

Can't believe you got those bars for 29 dollars, they cost like £70 in the UK

Pretty rare here too. Once in a good long while I'll find a deal like that and jump on it.

The issue with bars right now is as they go up they get wider, people's shoulders don't just get more massive, so kids not only ride bars way to big, but they hold them on the bend, a 9 inc rise (8.75 if I had my way) 28 or even 27 inch wide bar is the way forward in my opinion. Kids be lookin stoopid.

Well, my mystery of why everyone grips on the bend has been solved. I just thought it was another stupid trend.

Like when people buy those super long odi grips intended to be cut down to preferred length but run them all the way down to the crossbar?

Yeah it sucks when people do that
