I'm riding a BMC 03fourstroke its put up with loads only 100mm travel front and back and has taken an absolute beating from long xc routes to even black runs in bike park wales hasn't missed a beat!

I just got a transition bandit. Absolutely love it. But again depends on what your looking for. Relaxed trail riding id say trance is an awesome choice. Buddies of mine just picked one up. But for speed slthe specialized epic I test rode was wicked fast. Just alot less laid back than say the trance, camber ,or bandit. Best thing you can do is demo days if you have any near you. Ofcourse riding a bike with x01 now im going to be 1000 dollars poorer haha.

I think for the best bang for the Buck would be the Giant . I've owned 2 of them and love both of them .
