Is it possible to convert a 2013 Rockshox lyrik rc2l 160mm to a 170mm fork.
Is there any way to add spacers or something of that nature to make it happen?

You should be able to replace the Solo Air spring assembly with the 170mm version, Rock Shox part number 11.4018.010.081 Just go to your local bike shop, they should be able to order it for you.

I have the lyrik dual position 160-130mm air. Will that make a difference?

I think it would work fine, but the Solo Air spring doesn't have travel adjustment. As far as I know you can swap the Dual Position for the Solo Air with no issues and extend to 170mm, but you will no longer be able to lower your fork to 130 or any other shorter travel setting.

that works fine for me. I don't need a 130mm, it came with the bike when i bought it.
Do you know a rough cost of the 170mm solo air spring

It's about $100 USD.

Thread revival, I'm in a similar situation but wanting to go from 160 Dual Position to 170 coil. Would anything besides the top out assembly, top cap and spring sleeve be needed? What would need to be done on the damper side? Currently have the RC2DH.
