Looking after some comfortable grips. What are people running on there bikes?
I tried a mates bike years ago, and had really comfortable grips. But neither of is can remember what they're called. They just have lines going along the length of the grips? Any ideas.
Thanks

Been running ODI Longneck BMX Lockon on all of my bikes, and now have converted 3 friends to these grips. Best grips I've tried (haven't tried too many of them, but they were the best) amongst Hope, Renthal Kevlar and some random ones I can't remember the name or brand.

Not overly expensive, but massive grip, even in the wet, very comfy, and surprisingly long lasting ! (they last much longer than the set of Renthal Kevlar grips I had...)

I am a big fan of vans x odi lock ons. Pretty hard rubber, but you can boil them if you like softer.

I've got a pair of Specialized Enduro grips that I've been very happy with so far.

I like my CrankBorthers Iodine Kraton lockon grips. Comfy, but not too much so, and they are really grippy.

I guess it depends on what's comfortable to you and what size your hands are. I'm 6'4" and have accordingly large hands .....and you know what they say about people with big hands... Big grips. I personally like the Oury lock-ons. They're pretty chunky so if you like a thin grip they're not for you but considering their size they don't make me feel like I'm missing out on feedback or control for the bike. The added thickness does add comfort IMHO. Based on the opinions of the testers at pinkbike the Easton grips seem to be super comfortable as we'll and I'm debating giving them a try or getting another pair of Oury's at the moment.

I used to ride with gloves with a fair amount of padding with stock or thinner grips but now I think the grip matters more than the glove.

for non-lock-ons the ESI silicone grips are pretty comfy.

Having come from motocross i'm used to bigger grips, ive gone for odi lockons rogue grips. nice size, great grip and are comfy. helps prevent arm pump also as you tend to clenche your grip less with a larger sized grip than you would with thinner ones. Or for dead comfy MX grips on a pushbike, try Renthal dual compound kevlar grips, they were brilliant.

Renthal Kevlar grips are a gift from the gods.

You will never feel more connected to your bike than when you use those.
