Hi guys the first trail i posted Sa Bastardita Doble doesnt show up on the map. The trailhead is there' as are the surrounding trails

It shows on map now, but this seems like an entire ride/route not an individual trail? Maybe it needs to be cropped

Sites looking great! Glad to see it back up and live.

Couple of issues I had uploading this trail http://www.trailforks.com/confirm/view/trail/1583/ :

1. Despite carefully selecting the start and finish of the trail from my strava ride log, it seems to have actually taken my entire ride (marking the trail as 21km instead of 0.7km)
2. When logging in I got stuck in what seemed like an error loop, which I was continuously told I needed to login, and clicking on the "login" link brought me back to the same error. In actual fact I had been logged in with my PB account without realising it.
3. Grades in the trail stats are all listed as "m" - I think they should be in "%"

Also, a slight interface oddity that confused me for a minute, when viewing this page: http://www.trailforks.com/region/valleycliffe/
The trail list on the right seems to include all trails in Squamish, when I expected it to only include trails in Valleycliffe.

This was all done using Chrome on OSX

Yah the sidebar on the region pages is dynamic, it changs as you pan around the map, so its not necessarily just the trails for that riding area.

Fixed that grade thing, thanks for noticing!

There was an issue with your trail, it was missing the gps track info, I manually fixed it. I'm investigating what happened now. So you imported a Strava activity and cropped it?

From which page/url did you click the login link?

I did indeed. Connected my strava account, selected the most recent ride that included that trail, and then cropped to highlight only the trail from that ride.

Start by being logged out of Trailforks, but logged in to PB

1. Go here: http://www.trailforks.com/region/westside/
2. Select "Contribute" -> "Add Trail"
3. Click on the "Login" button shown
4. Get shown a page that says "Attention Message: You need to [Login]", however at this point I am logged in with my PB account.

Seems like there may be a post login forwarding issue here? Seems like it should either ask if I want to login with my PB account, or at least notify me that that is what has happened.

Thanks for those steps, it helped a lot! The login redirect loop should be fixed in the next update.

I think what happened with the trail is you didn't press the "SAVE CROP" button after finished moving the crop slider bars. So I made that more obvious and throw an error if it wasn't pressed.

Started cropping my routes down to trails so far so good, only problem so far is that the photos and videos dont all correspond to the trail now and there doesn't see to be a edit option

If you are the owner of the photo there is an edit button. When viewing the photo on Pinkbike look in the bottom right for the edit link. You can then change the trail the photo is attached too.

Your making me want to visit Spain too ride!

If you are the owner of the photo there is an edit button. When viewing the photo on Pinkbike look in the bottom right for the edit link. You can then change the trail the photo is attached too.

I've tried that even though i changed the trail it was still coming up. Also couldnt remove a you tube video! lol It was easier to delete the rroute and upload the individual trails which has kept me busy!

Thanks, fixed that. Also the photo above was probably automatically added. When a trail is added the site tries to find existing Pinkbike photos matching the trail, either by geolocation or matching trailname. There is a "flag trail photo" link on the photo page under the map, to report bad photos, or you can pm me.

@natenbake is the GPX file really large? Can you email me the GPX file so I can take a look. trevor@pinkbike.com
