Route counter tab on the website still counting wrong. Dillingby has for the moment 11 defined routes but the website tab says they are only 10.

EDIT: Counter is correct when standing in the Norrtälje region, but when going into the Dillingby riding area the counter is wrong.

Thank you!

Thanks, found that routes were not included when region counters are re-calculated.

Quick one for you Canadaka. After some discussion with our local mountain bike advocacy group here in Washington, there was a decision to hide or remove a series of trails.

If you go through the logs, you can see the pile of less than legit trails that I've hidden, including https://www.trailforks.com/trails/hot-schiracha/ and others. The issue being is that the trail names still appear on trailforks, even though the trail is at the maximum hide setting as well as the trails are still visible when viewed from "far away", or level "10" zoom or smaller.

Can we get these properly hidden so that they do not appear unless you have admin level rights? (I'll spare you the politics behind the decision, but it's the right thing to do I've come to realize. And I'm the author of most of the trails).

Thanks!

Well sad to hear that the trails need to be hidden.
The trail labels and lines when zoomed far away are actually map tile images. They are cached on our servers and the CDN. There is a process that is supposed to update the tiles in the area when a trail is edited or added, but this system is not functioning properly. One of the other developers is looking into it, but he has a bunch of stuff on his plate. They will update eventually. Check back in if they still haven't updated after several weeks.

No desire to have the trails still listed but their location & map hidden? So reporting and photos can still be contributed?
FYI either hidden setting will remove them from the trail label tiles (when they are updating properly!).

On the topic of mystery dashboard content from a previous user :

I just got a group that I noticed. Dated "Submitted on Mon 2017-04-03 @ 8:45am"
https://www.trailforks.com/report/111240/
The region of the submitted report is Campbell River and I am an admin over Campbell Mountain.

Perhaps there is a POI, trail, or something that has accidentally been listed as Campbell Mountain but located in the realm of Campbell River?

Agreed, it is sad. Unfortunately the politics on land use and management has worsened here in the States. My view (was) that the more people discover and ride the trails we have, the more people we have to protect, maintain and support mountain bike trails. Unfortunately, because of our government and the people that work their, it's not that simple. After some constructive (and frustrated) feedback from the local trailbuilders and managers in this area, it was deemed necessary and more positive to make the non official trails on the now very popular Trailforks hidden or deleted.

Ask Brent to forward you the email chain between myself and those involved for some added context. Oh America, the land of the formally free. Sigh.

Cheers!

Using the ride planner (not "region routing admin") with any of Googles 3 maps options. The maps (world wide) are displaced by some 50 pixels in south direction for any zoom level.

Also:
Added a trail last evening (13h ago, Görla-sneddarn in Norrtälje region) and it still doesn't show in the ride planner. But it shows up in the app.

Thanks for all you efforts!

/Örjan, going out for a ride this morning

Sometimes it takes an hour or so for the routing to update. Or in some cases there is a race-condition and the update is skipped until the next trail is added or updated.

Its there now https://www.trailforks.com/ridelog/planner/?waypoints=59.730350,18.681240:59.736131,18.691184

Regarding Google, that is very strange! OSM, ARC and the Trailforks map are fine. It's fine in Google Earth if I download one of the trails and the trailhead of "Grusväg 1" is correct if I plot it on maps.google.com

This I will have to investigate.

I've been fighting with this for too long. The node is connected between the trails yet it still goes back out and around!! I just plotted a route with this last week but now I can't do it.
What simple little issue am I missing?

Can you paste me the rideplaner link? I'm not really sure where you're trying to route.

You can also use the alternative "selecting" method for routing, where you manually select each segment.

I'd love to, but now it worked. It had the most minor of overlapping, completely intersected but did extend passed.

Oh well, gives me an easy task for tomorrow.

How come my ride planner doesn't use my private trails?

There are some bugs on this region : https://www.trailforks.com/region/lansenvercors-18614/

1.The map centers on one trail only while there are four
2.the count under "Region details" is off; it lists only 2 Red trails insted of 3red+ 1black

When adding a Ridelog there is a calculated "average ride difficulty". How can two very much alike rides come out so different? Check out these two from last evening:
https://www.trailforks.com/ridelog/view/1297578/
https://www.trailforks.com/ridelog/view/1297603/
There is a small discrepancy between our plots at 37 minutes where my friend explored an old path while I helped out with a flat tire.
