Sorry for late response. Works now ! My skiing activities are also suddenly showing up, but they are tagged as such so I assume that's intentional. Thanks !

Ride Plan glitch

I'm encountering a glitch when I make a ride plan up the logging road at Boulder Mountain in Revelstoke, BC. You start putting waypoints up the road but when you get to a certain point it jumps ahead and thinks you've gone straight down. I'm trying to start at the parking lot and make a route up the road, down gravy bacon, up the road again and down logging leftovers. It shows up as 4 laps instead of 2 because of the glitch.

Try using the 'select trails' option instead of the 'routing A to B' option. Located on the right side under the region search field.

Let me know if that solves your issue.

I tried to add activities to a trail to help expand to the newly added activities list. Content was approved but changes did not appear. I tried adding Horse and Dirtbike to Kingsbury Stinger in Nevada fyi.

I was just browsing around and went to my "Pending Content" on my dashboard. The Rejected list, which I assume is all the trails I've rejected and not ones that have been rejected on me, has some date sorting issues.
Sort by Date just does a seemingly random sort in different directions.

But the possibility I am reading it incorrectly is pretty high, I'm sleep deprived at the moment.

Sort by Date Ascending
Sort by Date; Ascending

Sort by Date Descending
Sort by Date; Descending

I just bought a new Garmin Edge 830 and want to take it out for my first ride on the weekend at "La Larr Ba Gauwa MTB Park" in Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia. I want to create a route on Trailforks for my ride, having never done this before I've watched an instructional video on how to use the ride planner. However when I go to create my route it says "error finding an edge", my riding zone is however located within a big yellow box so I can't see why it is not working.

Is there a bug in this particular area?

Thanks

Nothing that stands out to me. I've updated the routing in that region just to be sure and added a connector road.

Give it another try and maybe try using the select trail method instead of the routing A to B, (upper right side)

These unconfirmed trails : https://www.trailforks.com/confirm/view/trail/162545/
https://www.trailforks.com/confirm/view/trail/162546/

show up as GPX duplicate as this trail : https://www.trailforks.com/trails/est-roller-coaster/
but they aren't at the same spot, they don't even cross.

I am not sure what happened but my ride planner will no longer recognize two trails that intersect each other. I made a few adjustments to them and seem to have broken this feature. I waited a few days for my changes to propagate through, but nothing yet.

Here is a link to the region:

The trails in question are: https://www.trailforks.com/trails/trail-1-south/ and https://www.trailforks.com/trails/skate-loop/

Thanks!

We currently have a heavy load of imports do to the Return to Earth Contest. Bulk imports are pushed to the back of the line and will update when when imports have slowed down. Give it sometime they will import at some point.

If they are very close to each other they can be flagged as being duplicate. The system is a little sensitive sometimes, just ignore the warning.

Cheers

Try using the select trail method instead of the routing A to B method, I find you get less issues when crossing over trails. Just make sure you include all small sections of trail or it will say not connected.

To changes selection method it is near the upper right.

Hello, today I rode two local unmarked trails and uploaded them after signing into the contest and never received a badge. It’s from my understanding now that the trail does not have to be recognized by the app but I’m wondering how come I have not received a badge if I rode a trail after I signed up for the contest. Thanks for the help, cheers zach
