Stoked to grab this custom 5.5 build. Former owner really wanted it blacked out. Going to get some new Lyric and X2 decals in red since the rims already have red accents

Here's my 2015 Pivot Mach 6 carbon with lots of upgrades.
I'm liking my new 9-50 11 speed oil slick cassette and chain.
I added the Reynolds Black Label Enduro Industry nine wheels.
With my other tires it's 28lbs.

28 lbs is super light for a long travel trail/enduro bike. I wish mine was nearly that light

Nice bike, what cassette is that, and what derailleur are you using with it? Did you have to change the cage?

I have a Sram X01 11speed shifter and derailleur with ZTTO 9-50 XD super light cassette. Just turned in the B-tension to clear the 50t and it works great, no issues whatsoever. I just put a NX Eagle cassette on my Spartan and it feels to weigh at least double.

Lots of lightweight parts

So I'm not really a newbie here, just moving over from the Intense forum. I loved my old Spider 275C, but wanted something a little more capable. Demo-rode this 2019 Switchblade twice and loved it so much that when it went on sale, I bought it same-day. Only thing I've changed so far is swapping out the two-pot SLX brakes for four-pot front and rear. Was going to keep the Spider as a backup, but love the Pivot so much that I sold the Spider to Pro's Closet.

All cleaned up and ready for fun.

Super nice bike congratulations!

And I just sold my custom Mach 6 and now on Yetis.

Pivot's are amazing bikes and top quality. If you ride hard, I would swap out those rims. They're flimsier then a wet noodle.

Yeah I feel like they under spec brakes on a number of models. Like not having at least a 8" rotor on the front of the Firebird 29 is a huge miss.

Thanks, I'll work that into the budget.

Yep, the 203mm rotor will hit the front here soon. Intense under-spec'd the brakes on the Spider too, but I upgraded them to Magura MT Trails. Must be where bike makers think they can save money without us noticing.
